Vent-Axia understands what it takes to bring innovative products to market, and our constant monitoring of changing needs allows us to stay ahead of the competition.
Ease of installation is of huge importance. We’ve long recognised that even the best performing products will not be popular unless they are simple to install. Thanks to our close trade ties, we are able to meet the needs of professional installers. In reality, where space and angles so often seem to conspire against us, Vent-Axia takes pride in its practical solutions. Examples include the recently introduced click-fit ‘Top Socket’ on our T-Series and the rotating duct turrets on our Air Minder.
Then there is ease of use. Again, it is what matters in the real world that drives us to create the very best products. Sometimes the requirement will be for ‘fit and forget’ products - those that sit in the background and automatically do their job with only the minimum of user control necessary. At other times there is a need to provide manual overrides or wireless remote control systems, not for their own sake, but to give users the fine control over their environments that is increasingly expected in modern living.
Energy efficiency, environmental concerns, health priorities, building regulations - all are fed into the design brief at the earliest stage, allowing the development of products that considers a broad cross section of real world considerations. To ensure that the highest standards are met, considerable resource is allocated to the essential processes of testing and refining. Before any product comes to market, it is rigorously tested in our own BEAB approved laboratory. Airflow, pressure development, sound characteristics, electrical integrity, mechanical safety and electro-mechanical compatibility are evaluated against internationally recognised standards - verifying performance data which we then publish to help customers make informed product choices.
Once refined, our new products are then manufactured to the highest quality. The majority of all our manufacturing takes place at our two production facilities in the UK - one of which is dedicated to metals, the other to plastics. We also build our own heat recovery cells, to ensure the highest performance levels. End of line test procedures (and adherence to Quality Control BS/EN ISO9001:2000) are important to us as well as to our discerning customers. Resulting confidence in our high manufacturing standards allows us to supply our products with the reassurance of a long guarantee (5 years in the case of the LoWatt range).
